ARP Brisbane is thrilled to announce that producers Mike Howlett (Gang of Four, GONG, Martha and the Muffins, Flock of Seagulls) and Philip (PIP) Williams (Status Quo, Moody Blues) will join the all star cast of producers descending on Brisbane from Dec 10-11 for the conference to be held at QUT's Creative Industries Precinct. Classic Producers Sessions – open to the public
While ARP season passes are selling fast, all are welcome to attend just the AR's Classic Producer series.
Tickets are on sale now for the Classic Producer sessions which run from 10am – 4.30pm on Monday and Tuesday.
Tickets are available from $75.00 per day for the Classic Producers sessions.

16th November: New Speakers Announced
More of the world's most respected music producers will be heading to Brisbane this December to join the already stellar line-up of speakers for the third annual Art of Record Production Conference.
ARP Brisbane is thrilled to announce that producers Mike Howlett (Gang of Four, GONG, Martha and the Muffins, Flock of Seagulls) and Philip "PIP" Williams (Status Quo, Moody Blues) will join the all star cast of producers descending on Brisbane from Dec 10-11 for the conference to be held at QUT's Creative Industries Precinct.
Featuring some of the most exciting music producers this country has to offer – plus a keynote address from iconic US DJ / Producer Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy, BombSquad) – The Art of Record Production is a world-wide event being presented for the very first time in the southern hemisphere.
The conference has been previously staged in London and Edinburgh and its move to Brisbane in 2007 is further recognition of the city's emergence as a global music industry hotspot.
The two day event will hear from acclaimed producers including Daniel Denholm (Midnight Oil, Cruel Sea, Alex Lloyd), Tom Ellard (Severed Heads), Dave Trump, (Pollyanna, Big Heavy Stuff, Violetine, You Am I), Richard Lush (Abbey Road Studios engineer plus producer of Sherbert, Jon English and many more) plus Mike Howlett (Gang of Four, GONG , Flock of Seagulls), Philip "PIP" Williams ( Status Quo, Moody Blues) and Steve D'Agostina (Thurstin Moore, Depeche Mode Re-Mix plus more).
At ARP they will unlock the secrets behind producing some of the most important records of the past four decades.
Conference delegates will have the opportunity to interact with speakers throughout the event.
Hosted by Professor Andy Arthurs, Professor Julian Knowles and Dr Donna Hewitt at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the Art of Record Production is a must for Queensland artists and producers alike.
